At 7:19 p.m. on Friday, November 14, members of Halifax Regional Police responded to a vehicle-pedestrian collision at Victoria Road and Thistle Street in Dartmouth. The vehicle was turning left from Victoria Road on to Thistle Street when it struck a pedestrian in the marked crosswalk. The 50-year-old female pedestrian was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The 63-year-old male driver was issued a ticket for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
