Information had been received from a witness that a passenger in a vehicle was observed pointing a handgun at a pedestrian near the intersection. Multiple units responded to the area and located the suspect vehicle near Main and Dunbrack Streets. A man and two male youths were arrested without incident and a subsequent search of the vehicle led police to recover an airsoft/pellet pistol. A 16-year-old boy, a 17-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man, all from the Halifax area, have been charged with possession of a weapon. They were released from police custody and will appear in court at a later date.
