At 1 p.m. police responded to a report of a death at a residence in the 5800 block of Almon Street in Halifax after a 39-year-old woman was found deceased. Investigators in the Major Crime Unit of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are currently on scene and are treating the death as suspicious. The investigation into this matter is currently in its initial stages and more information will be released as it becomes available.
