At 4:18 a.m. on Sunday, April 20, officers responded to McDonald’s at 3486 Kempt Road in relation to a robbery. Two suspects entered the restaurant armed with knives, demanded cash from the employees and fled with an undisclosed amount of money, heading westbound on Hood Street. The suspects are described as white men in their early 20’s who were wearing green masks. One was approximately 5’8”, 175 lbs. and wore light colour clothes and a waterproof jacket while the other was approximately 5’-5’5”, 130 lbs. and wore a black oversized hoodie with a grey crown on the back. Anyone with information in relation to this incident is asked to contact Halifax Regional Police at 490-5016.
