At 12:45 p.m. Halifax Regional Police responded to a vehicle-pedestrian collision at Bayers Rd. and George Dauphinee Dr. in Halifax. A 25-year-old male driver of the vehicle was exiting the Halifax Shopping Center on to Bayers Rd. when he struck a 25-year-old male pedestrian in the crosswalk. The pedestrian was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle was issued a summary offence ticket for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
