At approximately 8:30 p.m. on Friday, November 6, Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of weapons complaint in the 0-100 block of Cranberry Crescent in Dartmouth. A caller reported that windows in a residence received some damage from what was believed to be a shooting incident. A member of the Halifax Regional Police Forensic Identification Section attended the scene in an attempt to determine the cause of the damage. Officers arrested four individuals during a traffic stop on Portland Street in Dartmouth shortly after police arrival at the scene, however, they were later released without charges. There were no injuries associated with this complaint. The investigation is being conducted by investigators in the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division who are interested in speaking with anyone who may have any knowledge of this incident.
