On March 7 at 3:15 a.m. Halifax Regional Police responded to an apartment building at 51 Joseph Young Street in Dartmouth to assist Halifax Regional Fire & Emergency with a working fire. The fire was contained to the 4th floor but there was water and smoke damage. Halifax Transit was contacted for a bus for displaced residents to have a warm place to sit. The Red Cross was contacted as well.
