Monday, Nov. 30, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that work will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 2, to extend the natural gas main on Gottingen Street, between Falkland Street and Portland Place.
Crews will be onsite during the hours of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. During construction, two lanes of traffic (one lane in each direction) are expected to be maintained at all times. The pipeline installation and temporary restoration is expected to take one day. Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible. Heritage Gas and the municipality apologize in advance for any inconvenience this work may cause.
