Friday, Nov. 6, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that crews are doing manhole and valve adjustments tomorrow, Nov. 7, on both Hammonds Plains Road and the Bedford Highway.
This work will take place between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. in preparation for paving on Sunday evening. Crews will be on site Saturday on Hammonds Plains Road from the Bedford Highway to Doyle Drive, and on the Bedford Highway from Hammonds Plains Road to Southgate Drive.
There will be lane drops in place while this work is underway. Motorists should expect long delays in the area and are asked to use alternative routes, if possible. The municipality regrets any inconvenience this road work may cause.
