Halifax Regional Police (HRP) is proud to recognize the men and women who help make our community a safer place in which to live and play during National Police Week (May 13-19).
Following the successful kickoff of Police Week 2012 at Mic Mac Mall on May 12, our celebration continues this week on our website and social media sites as we present “To Catch a Thief.” Through this mock investigation of a break and enter into a residence, we’ll profile the units involved in the investigation from the onset of the crime through to the conclusion at court. Along with the in-depth look at how a break and enter investigation unfolds, we’ll also provide simple tips that will help homeowners and renters protect their homes from thieves.
