Earlier this morning at 12:25 a.m., 2 HRP beat officers were advised by a passerby of a pool of blood with a hat and glasses nearby on the sidewalk in front of the police station on Gottingen Street in Halifax.Officers located the blood and a 25-year-old intoxicated male nearby who was suffering from a head injury. He was transported and later released from hospital. Officers have interviewed him but have not been able to ascertain how he sustained his injuries. The investigation will remain open and be followed up on.
