Investigate possible gun shots GO#21-41156

On April 8, at approximately 7 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of possible gun shots in the area of Lahey Road and Clarence Street in Dartmouth. Officers arrived on scene and confirmed a shooting had taken place. No reports of any injuries. 

Officers are currently on scene, including Forensic Identification members. We ask that people avoid the area.

Members of the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are conducting the investigation.

The investigation is in its preliminary stages and further information will be released when available.
