Lacewood Drive - Natural gas pipeline restoration

Aug. 6, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that work will begin Monday, Aug. 10 on curb restoration and asphalt cutting following the extension of the natural gas main on Lacewood Drive between Gateway Road and Clayton Park Drive.

At least two lanes of traffic will be maintained at all times with an altered centreline in place.  No work will take place between the morning and afternoon rush hours (7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.).

This work is expected to take approximately five days. Another PSA will be issued prior to the asphalt paving work. 

Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible.

Heritage Gas and the municipality apologize in advance for any inconvenience this work may cause.
