Halifax Water crews are currently on-site repairing a water main in the area of 50 Lacewood Drive, near the intersection with Vimy Avenue.
Stoney Brook Court Apartments, civics 30, 44, 50 Bedford Highway and civics 30, 34, 36, 44, 46, 48 and 50 Titus Street are currently affected. There is no estimate at this time when water service will be restored.
This work will is taking place off street, though some traffic delays may occur as repair equipment and crews enter and exit the work zone. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to ensure smooth traffic flow around the work zone. On-site personnel will also maintain communication with local residents and businesses to help minimize disruption. Motorists are asked to use alternate routes and expect delays. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
