A Halifax Man has been charged in relation to a stabbing that occurred in Halifax yesterday.
At approximately 5:13 p.m., yesterday police responded to a report of a stabbing in the 200 block of Herring Cove Rd. in Halifax. Investigators determined that there was one victim who had been stabbed. The victim, a 48-year-old-man was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
At 6:55 p.m. a 27-year-old male was taken into custody without incident.
Chris Brian Saccary, 27, of Halifax has been charged in relation to the below incident. He is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court today to face charges of aggravated assault contrary to section 268(1) of the criminal code and possession of a weapon contrary to section 88(1) of the criminal code
