A Halifax man faces charges after a drug search last night in Halifax.
At approximately 8:35 p.m., officers assigned to the HRP/RCMP Integrated Drug Unit, assisted by Patrol Officers, conducted a search of a residence in the 2400 block of Victory Lane in Halifax. A 29-year-old man was arrested at the scene and found to be in possession of crack cocaine. The subsequent search of the residence resulted in officers seizing a quantity of crack cocaine, marijuana, Dilaudid pills and cash.
The man faces charges of drug possession for the purpose of trafficking and is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court at a later date.
