Police have arrested a man in connection with an indecent act that occurred yesterday afternoon in Dartmouth.
At 12:27 p.m., officers received information from a group of children who witnessed a man masturbating in the window of an apartment in a building in the area of Maplehurst Drive. The children advised they had been sledding on a hill behind the building for about an hour when they heard a cough and then noticed the man through the open window. Police attended and through the course of the investigation arrested a man without incident at 1:11 p.m. in a unit in the apartment building. The man was held in custody overnight.
Fifty-six-year-old James Michael Snow of Dartmouth will appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court later today where he will face one charge of committing an indecent act.
