A third man whose information was included as part of a list of people with outstanding warrants has been arrested.

In January, HRM Partners in Policing released a High Risk Enforcement Action Team (HEAT) Outstanding Warrant List to the public. The list contained nine people who have warrants for their arrest and are believed to reside in HRM. On February 2 at 1:28 a.m., police were contacted by a man from the HEAT list who wanted to turn himself in. Officers attended an address on Maple Street in Dartmouth and arrested Trevor Dane Beaver without incident. He is scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court on February 2 in relation to his two outstanding warrants, three counts of breaching a recognizance and three counts of breaching an undertaking.

The Outstanding Warrant Wanted List is available on the Internet at www.halifax.ca/police/HeatList. HRM Partners in Policing remind citizens not to approach these individuals or try to take matters into their own hands. Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to contact Halifax Regional Police at 490-5016, RCMP at 244-7208 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or online at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca.
