A man whose information was included as part of a September 2011 list of people with outstanding warrants has been arrested.

Every few months, HRM Partners in Policing release a High Risk Enforcement Action Team (HEAT) Outstanding Warrant List to the public. Twenty-five-year-old John Pierre Graves-Smith was one of ten people named in the list police issued in September 2011. He was arrested yesterday in Moncton by Codiac Regional RCMP and arrangements were made to return him to Halifax today. He was scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court this afternoon on two counts of breaching a recognizance.

The current Outstanding Warrant Wanted List is available on the Internet at www.halifax.ca/police/HeatList. HRM Partners in Policing remind citizens not to approach these individuals or try to take matters into their own hands. Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to contact Halifax Regional Police at 490-5016, RCMP at 244-7208 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or online at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca
