A second man whose information was included as part of a list of people with outstanding warrants has been arrested.
On November 1, HRM Partners in Policing released a High Risk Enforcement Action Team (HEAT) Outstanding Warrant List to the public. The list contained ten people who have warrants for their arrest. Last night at 8:40 p.m., Derrick Bernard Nugent was arrested without incident in Halifax by officers assigned to the HRP West Quick Response Unit. He is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court today.
The Outstanding Warrant Wanted List is available on the Internet at www.halifax.ca/police/HeatList. HRM Partners in Policing remind citizens not to approach these individuals or try to take matters into their own hands.
