A fourth man whose information was included as part of a list of people with outstanding warrants has been arrested.
In January, HRM Partners in Policing released a High Risk Enforcement Action Team (HEAT) Outstanding Warrant List to the public. The list contained nine people who have warrants for their arrest and are believed to reside in HRM.
David Scanlan was arrested in Montreal on February 10 by Service de police de la Ville de Montréal. Officers with the HRP/RCMP High Risk Enforcement Action Team (HEAT) left for Montreal this morning to pick up Scanlan and return him to our jurisdiction. He is expected to appear in court tomorrow.
The Outstanding Warrant Wanted List is available on the Internet at www.halifax.ca/police/HeatList. HRM Partners in Policing remind citizens not to approach these individuals or try to take matters into their own hands.
