Man sprayed with sensory irritant

Police are investigating after a man was sprayed with a sensory irritant yesterday afternoon in Dartmouth.

At 2:36 p.m., police responded to the 0-100 block of Woodlawn Road to a report that a man had been sprayed with a sensory irritant by an unknown male youth. The 55-year-old man had observed a group of three male youths, who were standing in a pathway, throw an item in the direction of a nearby residence and then run away.  When the youths returned to the area a short time later, the man confronted the group and one of the youths sprayed a sensory irritant in his face. The youths then fled on foot toward Farquharson Street. The victim was treated on-scene by EHS.    

The only description of the suspects is three black males, 15-17-years-old. One of the youths had curly hair.
