Thursday, April 9, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that there will be some temporary street closures in downtown Halifax on Sunday, April 12, while crews do concrete work in the area.

Starting at 6 a.m. on Sunday, Market Street between Sackville and Prince streets, and Sackville Street between Market and Granville streets will be closed to all vehicle traffic and parking. The streets will reopen at about 6 p.m. Sunday night.

Pedestrian access will also be limited during the closure, for safety reasons. Construction staff on site will accommodate access to businesses on Market Street, as they’re able.

Motorists are asked to find alternative routes. The municipality apologizes for any inconvenience this temporary closure may cause.
