Missing Man - Police Seek Public’s Help

UPDATE - May 2, Matthew Carr has been found safe and sound in New Brunswick. Thank you all for your assistance. 

Halifax Regional Police is seeking the public’s help in locating a missing Dartmouth man.

Thirty-seven-year-old Matthew Travis Carr was last seen leaving the QE2 Health Sciences Centre on foot on April 29 but never arrived at his Dartmouth residence on Jackson Road. He was reported missing to police earlier today.   

Matthew is described as a white man, 5’9”, 150 lbs., with light brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a grey sweater with “staff” written in red lettering on the back, black jeans and black sneakers. 

There is no information to suggest that Matthew met with foul play, however, he suffers from a medical condition that requires on-going treatment and medication. Officers request that Matthew or anyone with information on his whereabouts calls Halifax Regional Police at (902) 490-5020.
