Update: missing person located.
Dorota Czarnodolska has been located and is safe. Police thank the public for their assistance and concern.
Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing 58-year-old woman from Halifax.
Dorota was last seen on April 1 in Halifax and was reported missing on April 4, 2019.
Dorota is described as a white woman with shoulder length curly brown hair. She is about 5’4” tall with a medium/heavy build. She usually carries a brown backpack. She is known to frequent the Halifax Central Library on Spring Garden Road.
There is no information to suggest that Dorota has met with foul play; however, her family and police are concerned for her well-being. Investigators are asking that Dorota or anyone with information on her whereabouts call Halifax Regional Police at 902-490-5020.
