Missing teenager found

Halifax Regional Police is seeking the public’s help locating a missing Halifax teenager.

Fifteen-year-old Tipi L'HEUREUX has been missing since March 6 at 7:30 p.m. She was last seen leaving her residence in Halifax and getting into a white taxi.

L'HEUREUX is described as an aboriginal female, 5'2", 135 pounds with long dark brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing jeans, black boots, and a 3/4 length burgundy jacket with fur on the hood. She was carrying a pink Victoria Secret bag.

There is no information to suggest that L'HEUREUX has met with foul play, however, police are concerned for her well-being. Officers request that L'HEUREUX or anyone with information on her whereabouts calls Halifax Regional Police at 902-490-5020.

Update as of 8 p.m.: In the course of investigating this missing person file, investigators have learned from speaking further with Tipi L’Heureux’s family that Tipi now wears her hair curly with blonde highlights. She also often wears black-framed glasses. A more recent photo of Tipi is below at right.
