UPDATE - Missing youth Amber Dowell was located safe and sound in downtown Halifax in the evening of July 15.

Investigators with the Vice Unit of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Divisionare seeking the public’s help to locate a missing Dartmouth youth.
Fourteen-year-old Amber Rose Dowell was last seen leaving her Pleasant Street home on July 12 at 5:10 p.m., and was reported missing to police on July 13. She has been in touch with friends via social media since she left home and she is believed to be in the Halifax area.
Amber is described as a white female, 5’4”, 110 lbs. with a medium build and shoulder-length dyed blond hair. She has her nose, lips and ears pierced.
There’s no evidence to suggest that Amber has met with foul play but there are concerns for her safety. Officers request that Amber, or anyone with information on her whereabouts, calls police at 490-5020.
