On January 28, at 7:30 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Hollis Street and Duke Street involving a Metro Transit bus and a car. An occupant from the car involved was taken to hospital by EHS for a medical assessment and later released. The driver of the Metro Transit bus was issued a Summary Offence Ticket for Failing to stop at a red light. There were no reported injuries to the bus passengers.
