Halifax Regional Police has been informed that the 45-year-old female driver of the vehicle involved in the head-on collision with the Metro Transit bus has died as a result of injuries sustained in the collision. The name of the deceased has been withheld at this time pending the notification of next of kin. This matter remains under investigation at this time by the HRP Accident Investigation Team. The cause of the collision has not yet been determined.
