At approximately 6:25 p.m. Halifax Regional Police members attended a truck versus pedestrian collision in the intersection of Gottingen Street and Cornwallis Street in Halifax. A 30-year-old man from Halifax was walking across Cornwallis Street in a marked crosswalk when he was struck by a truck that was turning Eastbound from Gottingen Street onto Cornwallis Street. The pedestrian was attended to and transported to hospital by EHS Paramedics with non-life threatening injuries. A 56-year-old man from Dartmouth, who was driving the truck, was issued a Summary Offence ticket for failing to yield to a pedestrian.
