Tuesday, June 30, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that work will begin on Wednesday, July 1, to extend the natural gas main on Mount Edward Road between Wanda Lane and Spring Avenue in Dartmouth.
Crews should be able to maintain two lanes of traffic during most of this work. Any required periods of stop-and-go traffic will take place outside of peak traffic hours.
The pipe installation is expected to take approximately one week, with permanent restoration work to follow. Motorists should expect some delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible.
Heritage Gas and the municipality regret any inconvenience this work may cause.
