November is National Community Safety and Crime Prevention Month and the HRM Public Safety Office is encouraging you to play a role in public safety.
This year, the HRM Public Safety Office will mark the month by sharing a series of crime prevention messages on the HRM Public Safety Office and HRP social media sites. Our hope is to educate citizens by providing information on the following themes:
- November 6-12 (National Senior Safety Week) – fraud prevention for seniors
- November 13-15 – reporting crime and quality-of-life issues
- November 17-23 (National Bullying Awareness Week) – bullying awareness
- November 25-29 – top five crime prevention tips
