Thursday, June 26, 2014 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that work will begin tomorrow, June 27, to extend the natural gas main on Jubilee Road between Preston and Garden Streets.
The pipe installation and subsequent restoration work is expected to take approximately four weeks. Crews will suspend their work daily between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m., and 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.
Motorists can expect stop-and-go traffic while the work is underway and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible.
Heritage Gas and the municipality apologize in advance for any inconvenience this work may cause.
