Wednesday, June 18, 2014 (Halifax, NS) – Beginning tomorrow evening (Thursday) at 6 p.m., and continuing through the night until 7 a.m., Heritage Gas crews will be working on natural gas pipes below the ground at the intersection of Pleasant and Atlantic streets.
This work is required in order to extend the gas line from one side of the intersection to the other.
Traffic lights at the intersection will be shut off and travel will be reduced to one lane on both streets. Traffic control personnel will be on scene throughout the night.
Motorists should expect delays and are asked to find alternative routes whenever possible.
The municipality apologizes in advance for any inconvenience this work may cause.
