Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that work will begin tomorrow (Thursday) on an extension to the natural gas main on Quinpool Road between Vernon Street and Monastery Lane.
Lane drops will be in place and some parking may be restricted. No work will take place between the hours of 7 a.m. and 9 a.m., or between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.
The pipe installation is expected to take approximately two weeks, with permanent restoration taking place in the spring.
Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible.
Heritage Gas and the municipality apologize in advance for any inconvenience this work may cause.
