Halifax Regional Police (HRP) has closed its investigation into comments received by the Nova Scotia New Democratic Party (NS NDP).
Yesterday at 1:30 p.m., a member of the NS NDP filed a report with police concerning comments posted on one of their social media platforms. An officer was assigned to the complaint, met with the complainant and reviewed the comments. A senior investigator in the HRP/RCMP Integrated General Investigation Section reviewed the information and determined that the comments were not criminal in nature.
This investigation has been closed and an officer advised the complainant of the outcome.
