Halifax Regional Police (HRP) is pleased to introduce our new Public Information Officer.
Constable Stacey Opalka replaces Sergeant Pierre Bourdages in the Public Information Officer role effective today. Cst Opalka has been with HRP for eight years and has worked as a Patrol Officer and for the last three years has been the Community Response Officer for the Bayers/Westwood area of Halifax.
“It’s truly an honour to represent HRP,” says Cst. Opalka. “While I’ll miss the daily interaction with the Bayers/Westwood community, I’m looking forward to this new challenge.”
Sgt. Bourdages will return to operational duties and will be in charge of the Liquor Enforcement Unit.
