Halifax Regional Police (HRP) is pleased to introduce our new Public Information Officer.
Constable Dianne Woodworth replaces Constable Stacey Opalka in the Public Information Officer role effective today. Cst. Woodworth has been with HRP for eight years. You may recognize her from her time as a member of our Mounted Unit, where she spent seven years. She has also been a regular fill in for the Public Information Officer for the past three years.
“I will miss the direct interactions with my community and shift members, however, I am really looking forward to this new position on a full time basis and the challenges involved.”
