Repairs were completed on Friday, July 24 and the bridge is now open.
Friday, July 3, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that beginning Monday, July 6 at 9 a.m. and continuing until July 24, 2015 at 6 p.m., the bridge on Old Beaver Bank Road near the intersection of Glendale Drive will be closed to all vehicular traffic to accommodate bridge repairs. Pedestrian traffic will be maintained during this closure.
Motorists will have to use alternative routes. The municipality apologizes in advance for any inconvenience this bridge closure and road work may cause.
