Halifax Regional Police is investigating a vehicle/pedestrian collision that occurred on April 9 in Halifax.

At 4:15 p.m., a 43-year-old man in a wheelchair was travelling along the sidewalk on Lacewood Drive. He crossed Thomas Raddall Avenue in a marked crosswalk when he was hit by a vehicle turning right from Thomas Raddall Avenue to Lacewood Drive. The vehicle stopped after the collision, the driver checked on the man and they exchanged information. There were no injuries and no damages to the wheelchair. The incident was reported to police yesterday.

The collision remains under investigation and no charges have been laid.
