Police Arrest Two Men in Donald Smith Homicide

Investigators with the HRP/RCMP Integrated Major Crime Unit made two arrests this morning in connection with the 2010 homicide of 27-year-old Donald Chad Smith.

On October 23, 2010, officers responded to a building on Joseph Young Street in Dartmouth for a report of a shooting. The victim, Donald Smith, was shot while making a pizza delivery and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Earlier this morning, investigators arrested two men in connection with this homicide. A 21-year-old Dartmouth man and a 21-year-old Cherry Brook man are in custody and being interviewed at this time.

Investigators are confident there are people who know information about Donald Smith’s homicide who have yet to come forward.
