Police continue to investigate murder of David Robert Boyko

Today marks the twentieth anniversary of the murder of David Robert Boyko and homicide investigators in the Special Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division continue to investigate the case. 

On May 12, 1996, at 1:24 p.m., police responded to a report of an unresponsive man found on a dirt roadway at the end of Morris Road in the Burnside Business Park in Dartmouth. The man was found by a pedestrian who had been walking in the area. Upon arrival, officers located David Robert Boyko deceased, having suffered from a gunshot wound.

Mr. Boyko was a resident of Manitoba at the time of his death. He was last seen alive on May 12, 1996, at 6 a.m. leaving a hotel in Dartmouth.
