Police Continue to Investigate Murder of Kaylin Diggs

Sunday will be the first anniversary of the murder of Kaylin Diggs and investigators in the HRP/RCMP Integrated Major Crime Unit continue to investigate the case.

On August 11, 2012, at 3:49 a.m., police responded to a disturbance in the area of Argyle and Sackville Streets. Responding officers located 26-year-old Kaylin Diggs lying on the ground unresponsive. He was transported to hospital where he passed away a short time later. The investigation has determined that Kaylin was walking southbound on Argyle Street when an altercation took place and he was assaulted and knocked to the ground. Investigators are confident there are people who have information about this incident and urge them to come forward to speak with police
