Police continue to investigate murder of Matthew Sudds

Today marks the first anniversary of the murder of Matthew Thomas Sudds and investigators with the Major Crime Unit of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division continue to investigate the case.

On October 14, 2013, the body of 24-year-old Matthew Thomas Sudds was located in a ditch along Africville Road in Halifax. An autopsy was conducted the same day by the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service and his death was ruled a homicide. The investigation revealed that Matthew was last seen by friends on the afternoon of October 10, 2013.

Investigators believe there are people who have information about this incident who have not come forward. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact police at 902-490-5016.
