Police Continue to Investigate the Murder of Ronald Henderson

The Halifax Regional Police/RCMP Integrated Major Crime Unit continues to investigate the murder of Ronald Jack Henderson.

On April 5, 1986, police responded to 90 Withrod Drive in Halifax after Mr. Henderson was found on the side of the road suffering from serious injuries. He was transported to hospital where he later died.

The investigation revealed that Mr. Henderson, a taxi driver with Armdale Taxi, picked up two fares on Herring Cove Road. He later got into an altercation with an unidentified suspect(s) in front of 90 Withrod Drive. The suspect(s) took Mr. Henderson’s taxi and left him on the side of the road. His taxi was later located abandoned at a local school parking lot. Investigators believe there are individuals who have information that could result in an arrest and possible charges.
