Police Continue to Investigate the Murder of William MacDonald

Today marks the 10th anniversary of the murder of William MacDonald and Halifax Regional Police/RCMP Integrated Major Crime Unit continues to investigate.

On July 9, 2003, at 10:45 p.m. 62-year-old William Allan MacDonald was found deceased in his apartment on Jackson Road in Dartmouth, having suffered a gunshot wound. The investigation revealed that Mr. MacDonald often had visitors and that he was shot in his apartment. It is believed that someone known to Mr. MacDonald may have been involved in his death

Investigators with the HRP/RCMP Integrated Major Crime Unit are asking anyone with information about this incident to contact police at 490-5016.
