On December 2 at 8 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to the Central Nova Scotia Correctional Centre, 90 Gloria McCluskey Avenue, Dartmouth. A 46-year-old man, who is an inmate was assaulted by a group of inmates. The victim sustained life threatening injuries and has been transported to the hospital.
Investigators with the General Investigation Section and Forensic Identification Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are investigating.
