On December 17 at 12:08 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to an assault call in Halifax. Officers searched for the suspect and the investigation led to a second residence in the 3300 block of Romans Avenue, Halifax. At 11:55 p.m., just as officers obtained a warrant to enter the residence, the suspect surrendered to police without incident.
The suspect is facing charges of assault, uttering threats and breach of conditions charges and is held for court in the morning.
