On November 5, just after 11:30 p.m. Halifax Regional Police were called by passersbys to the intersection of Windsor St and London Streets in Halifax for reports of an injured woman. The woman was tended to and then transported to the QEII Health Sciences Centre by EHS. Police were called to the QEII to speak to this woman approximately an hour later when it was learned that she had been the victim of an attempted robbery at the original location. The victim was at a bus stop when a male approached her from behind and  attempted to grab her purse. She would not relinquish her purse and the suspect ran north on Windsor Street. The suspect is described as a man, approximately 5’8”  with a skinny build wearing a dark jacket.
