Police investigate bomb threat

Halifax Regional Police is currently investigating a bomb threat in Halifax. 

At approximately 2:30 p.m., a man was travelling on a Halifax Transit bus when he overheard two men speak about putting a bomb in The Village at Bayers Road Shopping Mall located at 7071 Bayers Road. Officers are on scene and searching the area and the K-9 Unit has been requested, however, nothing suspicious has been located to this point. Businesses in the area have been evacuated as a precaution. 

Police are currently speaking with the witness to obtain more information and trying to locate the two men. The men are described as white and both in their thirties.
